Colchester Pet Shop

I just visited this store and had a great experience. The staff is friendly and available to help. I'm a saltwater reef hobbyist and this store was perfect for that. They had a wide variety of corals at prices from $10 up. The fish and corals looked healthy. The live rock was fairly impressive too, several even had coral on them. I walked out the store with three new corals and plan to come back. They also had a bunch of supplies, but I did not pay much attention to them. Also of note was a good selection of saltwater fish and freshwater fish. After visiting this store, I am considering re-starting my freshwater tank.

Best selection of fish, corals, and saltwater livestock - great quality and great prices. The owner/staff are really nice, knowledgeable, and helpful without being pushy.

I’ve been coming to Cholchester Per for the last 3-4 months. My ability to care for Marine fish was beginner level at best. With Jenn’s Help and guidance I’ve not only become more knowledgeable, but have also built a fantastic marine acquarium that is successful. Take a day to come visit and you’ll have a great expierence too!

The sign is a little misleading I wouldn't go as far as they call the pet store they do have a little bit of things for other animals such as dogs and cats but primarily it's a fish store and when it comes to fish they have an excellent selection of freshwater and even salt so in my opinion should be called Colchester fish store. But if you are looking for fish or fish products this is one of the best ones around

Plenty of knowledge and experience from the staff if you have questions, and you're free to browse without being pestered. Space is tight and the selection isn't huge, but it's a good place to buy tropical fish.
