I arrive around 7:30-8:30am and it's not busy. I can go thru the whole donation process in just over an hour. Some staff cud use some improvement with customer service, but overall it's a good atmosphere. I wud recommend the Butterfield site, vs downtown where I have been donating for years. Downtown seems to be much busier & does take longer. Comparing the two places, their procedures differ. Downtown is not that comfortable, no sitting area like the BF site & no movies to watch either.

If you're donating for a good cause by all means continue with your donation. If you are doing it for cash....don't bother. First time donors need to donate FIVE times to make $270. $60 each for the first two, $40 each for the 3rd and 4th and $70 for the 5th. Maybe it's more once you're established but I doubt it. With the bad reviews about the establishment and how long it takes to donate, I just don't have that kind of free time.

I gave Plasma for the first time the other day and I had a great experience. Everyone was really helpful and kind.

Clean. Quick. WAY faster than downtown. Way closer than NW location. I've never been there more than 2 hrs (check in to walk out). Even when there's folks training there's always an experienced person overseeing everything. Clear on what, when, etc. How it works - - Pay is according to weight. - Donate 2 times in a 7 day period with at least 2 days in between. Decide on the days that are convenient and plan on sticking to it cuz of health guidelines, or you'll need to skip a day to adjust your preferred days. - The more water you drink the faster the donation time (I'm in the chair about 40 minutes). - Stay away from too much dairy and beef cuz it slows down the donation. Average 250-300/month for less than 4hrs time = approx $16/hr tax free. I'll take it.

This company does this stupid ass system where you get locked down on certain days for the week. It's understandable for health and law reasons to only donate two times a week, but the stupid ass part is where you can only go on the set days and not adjust them while still being acceptable in the 48 hour health criteria. Basically, if you're locked in on friday and sunday you are forced to come in then or lose bonuses because, "lol we said so." That time frame by the 48 hour health rule should allow you to slowly adjust out to Tuesdays or Wednesday to friday through sunday. This isn't a god damn job; you don't lock people to a schedule and make things extremely inconvenient for no real good excuse. Also, it's mostly the really old "women" who have that attitude like they don't realize where they work and where they live. This is not LA or the nice part of Arizona... so match the attitude (aka humble your asses down) with the complete lack of legitimate accomplishments next time!
