Das Stein Haus

Cannot exclaim enough about the salad bar and soup! Made fresh daily, it is the reason I go back again and again! That's not to say that the menu isn't outstanding as well! Perfect for families, too. My 11-year-old son likes to pretend he really is right in the heart of Berlin. The schnitzels and salmon are our favorites! The "lighter" menu which includes AYCE salad bar and soup is a shocking 13.99! And, be still my foodie heart... they serve real butter.

Hands down this place is one of the best kept secrets in all of Spokane! Das Stein Haus is by far my favorite restaurant in town. They have great service, delicious food, reasonable prices, and an air of authenticity that you just don't find in other places.

This place is amazing. The salad bar was impressive, the soup spectacular, and the dinner was out of this world. Every bite seemed to get better. I can't wait to Spokane again!

We are doing a gastro tour of Spokane it seems and tonight's spot was Das Stein Haus ... I didn't know Germany had a cuisine, but apparently they do and it is robust: centered around beers, schnitzels, brats & spetzels. There was salads of potatoes and vegetables and pretzels...with warm cheese sauce and sweet hot mustard. And that's just what we ordered. Ann was our server, and she was accommodating, knowledgeable, and brought a great attitude to the event. She was phenomenal. The food was tasty, hearty and filling and as we slowly ambled to the auto we all groaned we will start our diet tomorrow. The portions were huge, and we brought lunch home for tomorrow. Great spot for conversation, food and draft beer. Definitely worth your time and patronage.
