Days Inn by Wyndham Miami Airport North

What can I not say. Can't say it was expensive or beautiful. This place is a cross between slapping lipstick on a pig , and abandoned crack house. There are no lights that are actually attached to the ceiling or even walls. Carpet reminds me of the carpet used in the Bates motel . Surprised, that sheets were actually clean but don't get too excited the towels will cut you with every wipe. I also had a not so needed visitor who accompanied me throughout the stay. The 6 six legged creepy crawler was in the corner of the door . Exactly where the door opens, and connects with the hindges. It took the maintenance man 15 minutes to arrive upstairs and terminate the roach. When informing the front desk of the problem, they acted as if this was normal routine, and nothing is wrong with what I had stated was in my room. There is no free breakfast , no free water. The ice machine is on the first floor. And no exercise facility. The bathroom in your room is your saving grace. The floors have been redone , and there's actually decent lighting in there. Water heats to decent temperature for a great shower. For what I paid, I would have been better off at a motel.

The first room we had was infested with different types of bugs. Front desk it’s Miami that’s normal. One or two bugs but not an infestation. They gave us another room. Both rooms did not have working AC. It’s has microwaves and mini fridges in the rooms. Bathrooms are outdated and NO hot water. I wouldn’t stay here again. I would suggest you finding another place. They do offer a free shuttle to and from the airport. They also offer a free shuttle service to the cruise ship ports that the only plus I will give this location. If you read this ad please give me a thumbs up!!!!!

Clean room. Friendly staff. A little slow getting you into a room. My friend spent 2 hours after the room was cleaned and ready beefore they would issue it . no breakfast. No fridge or microwave. Community microwave available but not available til after 4pm til 10pm. Priced well. Convenient location

They give you a free shuttle to and from airport. That’s what sold me on this place. However, when we walked down hall to our bedroom ,and I seen a cockroach so big it could eat a small dog I was freaked. Our room had a odd smell. It was not clean and did I mention the place is infested with roaches? Yuck! Yuck! Yuck! You would be better off renting a car and sleeping in it. Awful!!

A building that would have been quite nice in the 50s, this Days Inn is now more of a wretched hive of scum and villany and unknowing air travelers. The rates and location are appealing, the prostitutes and drug dealers wheeling and dealing from the parking lot...not so much. We were catching an early morning flight and wanted a place to crash so we didn't have to drive up from the Keys at 2am, but in the long run that may have been a little more restful. After checking in around 8:00pm my father and I were propositioned by a woman of ill repute (who was staying at the hotel) while carrying our luggage up to my room (including my son's baby carriage!). After politely declining this offer we found a fairly recently remodeled hotel room with a small A/C unit desperately chugging along trying (and not quite succeeding) to compete with the Miami heat. This A/C unit's saving grace was that it halfway drowned out the comings and goings and yellings that went on in the parking lot the whole night. The parking lot has a gate, but it was not being utilized and the stream of traffic in and out all night seemed to preclude more than just hotel guests. The hotel has a bar, which may have accounted for some of this traffic, but I'm not sure... There was a pool advertised which we did not visit, and the staff was polite, but largely due to the clientele and sheer noise on the lot I would not suggest this hotel for families.
