Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Plantation

We attended a concert in sunrise and picked the Residence Inn base on positive reviews and they did not disappoint!! The staff was super friendly including the desk reps, the cleaning staff, and even the breakfast attendants!! We stay in room 224 and it was super super nice. It even had dishes and silverware in the room. The bed was very comfortable and clean. If I had to find any bad thing, it was that the bath tub drain was missing an O-ring so the water didn't stay in the tub but that was it! There was even a beautiful cat hanging out that was super friendly (pet friendly hotel)! We were very happy with this place!!

Great accommodation and food breakfast. The rooms are quite large and have full kitchens. Overall a great stay. There were a few dogs who made some late night noise, but it was short-lived

Very friendly employees. Bfast is more than adequate with alot of options from oatmeal to eggs to waffles. We had a one bedroom suite, which was good overall. A little bit of need for repainting, and the configuration was a little wacky with the doors blocking walking paths, but overall the use of space was best they could do and the place gets the job done. Very comfy beds.

Spacious rooms that were poorly kept. Seemed to have what looks like fleas in the bathtub. The toilets didn't flush properly, we called maintenance about the issue and they didn't fix it. We had to call on different occasions about the same issue. They left the toilet dirty after fixing it. The room smelled like mold. The hallway carpets were dirty for the duration of our stay. The breakfast was below standard in comparison to other Residence Inns that I have stayed. It was overall a horrible experience and certainly not up to the Marriott standard.

This is a good Residence Inn despite being an older building. Wifi worked reliably and rooms were updated with new looking fixtures and furnishings. The hotel provides a light dinner service and free breakfast. Other amenities include a pool, hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor basketball court (one hoop only). The only issue I can see is that if you have a cat allergy, there are cats that roam the outdoor area near the hotel.
