Holiday Inn Ft. Lauderdale-Airport

I was sent here by my airline after missing my flight. It was great. The food was excellent! I had the Salmon and LOVED it. There was some confusion with the shuttle from the airport. Be sure you have the address or phone number as this distinguishes which hotel you are at as there are many cans for Holiday Inn. This hotel had a cute looking pool with a waterfall. I did not have time to swim but it looked relaxing. Over all I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to stay near the airport.

So let's start with the hot tub is filthy I posted 3 pics of it green on here the pool cleaning service told me at the pool area that they don't wanna spend the money to Clean there pools and hot tub properly and most frequently, the lady at the front desk told my fiance for the kids eat free in the PM at the restaurant when she went to get the voucher oh your kid isn't gonna eat that much is he? Then the gentleman who went to the pool are 6-7 times after I told the front desk it was filthy and Ice cold he comes out lies to my face says they drained it and scrubbed it the day before I was at the pool area sun up to sun down liked to my face and gave me attitude, then I got my room clean once I was supposed to stay 3 nights stayed 2 and checked out early because of the horrible service the ignorance from the staff, and the hotel, and how filthy the pool was and how green and ice cold the hot tub was then finally after I spend $500 I decide after they don't clean my room again that day I check out early and get an early flight home cause I was so aggravated, then the manager finally contacts me 7 days after becomes ignorant on the phone to me, tried telling me that they didn't say that to my fiance when they did trying to tell me they cleaned the pools 3 times a week well it sure wouldn't smell like dirty laundry literally, told me on the phone pretty much tough luck your not getting a refund or any further compensation or anything, and I told her I was posting the pics and review very unhappy don't stay here very ignorant.

Very accomadating staff. Was able to do a much later check out with no issues. The pool here is not something I usually expect at a holiday inn.... It was VERY nice and well kept. Only stayed one night, but it was pleasent. Only downside is no free breakfast, which is more common these days.

Pretty nice Holiday Inn. Good food and drinks in the restaurant. However the lobby was jam packed full of people upon check in. It appears that this hotel is used by people getting on or off cruise ships. Also lots of kids in the hotel which made the halls noisy.

Beautiful hotel excellent staff! Front desk is so friendly and accommodating. The hotel is spotless and the housekeeping does an amazing job. This will be our hotel everytime we stay at when back in the area!!
