Double B's BBQ Restaurant & Timbers MKE Style BBQ Food Truck

This place is offers some of the most flavorful BBQ in the city. After having a disappointing experience at a different BBQ place, found this hidden gem! Boy, was I surprised by the results! Ordered a Brisket Sandwich that came out perfectly with seasoned sweet potato fries! The manager, Steve, even threw in a free order of ribs that were out of this world in flavor! Will definitely highly recommend this place to friends and family when they are in town to visit! The interior of the restaurant is very appealing and had plenty of room for parties to enjoy authentic BBQ! Kudos to this incredibly enjoyable experience that Double B's provided! Thanks again!

I'm not really a sweet tooth, but love good bold flavors so when I had the chance to try Double B's BBQ I honestly couldn't wait! I have tried a few smoked briskets now and none top Double B's for depth of flavor and tenderness. Smoke is the key here, even with their dessert. The Pecan Pie was the best I've ever tasted. Subtle hint of citrus, delicious almost slightly salty caramel and a generous amount of smoked pecans made this a true stand out. Their signature corn bread is to die for. So light and fluffy and sweet against the savory smokey fare on offer.They do their absolute best to accommodate everybody and have some wonderful staff. Make sure you book ahead because Double B's is no longer Milwaukee's best kept secret!

Food was good, however service really lacked. Our waitresses was super nice and friendly. However after being seated I noticed 2 coworkers having a small argument. It happens, brushed it off. But the rest of the 2 hours we were there, because it took that long to get our food. 2 waitress had a spat because one had to cover another’s table. The waitress who had to cover started complaining about covering the other waitress table to the other coworkers who were just sitting at the bar watching basketball. And who I assumed was in charge the woman behind the bar did nothing but give side comments. You should really learn how to work together as a team and help each other out. I will definitely not go back.

If you can get a seat, you’ll enjoy this place. First things first, mix the XXX and Texas bbq sauces together and you’ll be happy. The smokehouse wings were good. They didn’t wow me, but the smoke flavor was there and they were tasty. The smoked bacon balls were good but I’m not sure it’s worth the $7. The baby back ribs (half rack) were absolutely delicious. You can taste the Smokey flavor right away. The ribs were meaty and easily come off the bone with the help of a fork. The Mac and cheese side left little to be desired. I wished this tasted better. The corn bread was a nice treat. It almost felt like a sweet dessert. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes.

Nothing is left to be desired. Hands down this is some of the best BBQ I have ever had. They're staff is amazingly friendly and outstanding. From their sandwiches to their ribs, and even to the fresh lemonade, I crertainly enjoy my visit every time I come back. I want the owners and staff to know that they are the reason why I have such fond memories there. Such as when I parents treated me to lunch after I finished my Freshman year of high school. I look forwards to the many more memories and delicious meals to be had there. Thank you to all of the staff and chefs for providing such a wonderful experience.
