East Jefferson General Hospital

I HATE THIS HOSPITAL. I feel like I was treated like a piece of beef than a person. Staff \was more concerned with pleasing physician than my care. I truly fear going anywhere near this hospital. Staff not friendly. Some on the rude side. All business and no time for my input. Not too far from switching my physician and hospital to one in Covington and commuting to appointments (that is how much I hate and fear this hospital)

This has been the worst experience ever. You'd think the nurses, doctors, and staff would have more hospitality and be kind especially since people are coming here for medical emergencies etc. However, they have been nothing but rude and as I have been sitting here for over eight hours I've just been told that my mother hasn't even been seen yet. Don't come here you will regret it. My mom is sitting with a broken shoulder and completely cut open, bone deep, finger. She should be helped immediately but is sitting instead for hours upon hours practically just awaiting to get some type of infection. Do yourself a favor and never come here and experience this.

I WAS RECENTLY IN THE E.R. AT EAST JEFFERSON HOSPITAL AND WHAT I SAW AND EXPERIENCED WAS NOTHING LESS THEN NEGLIGENCE AT IT'S BEST!!!!! AS A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL I WAS APPALLED AND DISTURBED BY THE LAXITY OF THE STAFF ON THAT NIGHT. THERE WAS A TRUE EMERGENCY THAT NIGHT AND THE STAFF AND DOCTOR ON THAT NIGHT HAD NO URGENCY IN THEN AT ALL!!!! NEEDLESS TO SAY THE PATIENT DIED. I WOULD NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL FOR NOTHING! AND, I WOULD TELL ALL I KNOW THE SAME.

The ER is bad, they made me set in the waiting room for 4 hours before giving me something for pain!!! I was suffering from pain in my leg and couldn’t set on that small freaking chair, I told the lady on the desk that I need to raise my leg it’s hurt me a lot , but she said ( sorry mam ) then I decided to lay down on the floor !!!!
