Slidell Memorial Hospital

I've been a patient here many times, I also frequently visit for necessary medical procedures due to health issues and there is no better Hospital than SMH. Doctors are proficient, Nurses are outstanding and staff is kind, caring, and all around great! I drive all the way from N.O. because of the wonderful service I've been receiving from SMH over the last 12 years.

We can receive better health care for a vet then Slidell memorial hospital. 2 1/2 hours waiting in the ER. My son coughing up blood.

Horrible horrible horrible. They don't have any compaison for you at all. Er is very rude! I will never go back I would rather die. It's that bad. Dirty they don't clean ER rooms watched them bring people in and out for hours and didn't change sheets on the beds. Please be careful!

While travelling from New Orleans to the Jackson, MS area, my son became violently ill and we had to bring him to the nearest ER at 11:00 on a weeknight. SMH showed up on the GPS so away we went. BEST DECISION EVER. It was a quiet night and they got him in promptly but that's not the reason for the rating. The staff there was unbelievably friendly and helpful to us while we were there. They were genuinely resolved to find the source of the issue, not just push us through like a meat market. Even the police that was on duty called a cab for us and got us to a safe hotel for the night. People of Slidell, please do not take this gem for granted. In the Jackson area, we long for anything even close to what you have there. I wish we could pick it up and bring it north.

This hospitals emergency room is so bad,I wouldnt bring my dog here! It's like, oh well,we'll get to you when we get to you! They need to close this expensive minor medical center down...what a joke!
