West Jefferson Medical Center

I had to have major surgery on my back and needless to say I was scared to death. I arrived 5:00 in the morning for my surgery and I can't say enough good things about the entire staff at West Jeff hospital. From the time I arrived until the time I was discharge I was treated with compassion and truly felt like family. All the nurses were amazing. They took care of me like I was a part of there family and not just the nurses everyone who cared for me from the time I arrived until the time I left were amazing. I am grateful to the entire staff and wish them all the best. Thank you for being so compassionate and caring. And I have an amazing doctor who I trust with my life and his nurses are like family to me and the best nurses anyone could ask for. Sending love to all of you and may God bless all of you.

Had to go to the ER Thanksgiving morning for 5 year old who fell and hit her chin. Everyone was amazing and so caring! Under the circumstances we had an excellent experience! Thank you!!

I went to the ER tonight on my birthday by the way because I spotted something that scared me on my body and didn't have any idea what it was. Two nurses came in at different times and looked at it and was more into helping me. Dr. Foster came in 2 seconds looked at it said it was an abrasion. An abrasion??? Keep it clean and not to wear a bra for at least 2 days. I said I have to work he said oh ok. He looked at my thumb that has been looking horrible from dry skin and steam burn for 2 weeks said doing good. Just keep it clean. My blood pressure was high (never is) did not even recheck before I left. I felt like I was bothering him.

We were dealing with a death of a family member and a possible heart attack , we haven't had slept in over 24 hours, and we were traveling from another state. Security guard and some nurses were absolutely rude and extremely unprofessional. They made fun of us and said things like creepy and lazy and other rude stuff.

I love the doctor and his nurse. But omg the professionalism, the diligence, the ability of the office personal lacks serious skills and abilities. Appointments have been changed with out my knowledge. The attitude of superiority and looking down on the patient. The brushing off and dismissive attitude raises my blood pressure every time I have to deal with any of them just stresses me out. Made an appointment for my husband. Got a call confirmed that appointment showed up 30 minutes prior to that appointment and was told it had been rescheduled. Excuse me I Called yesterday and confirmed this appointment. Well did you call the right number. I said well let's see. Pulled my phone out and hit re dial. The receptionist answered. The look on her face said it all. I then had to wait because the appointment time I had made was rescheduled with another patient. I have yet to be seen at my appointment time. Making me feel as if my day and time is not as important as the company. I find the customer service to be lacking. I am paying for a service and being treated as an after thought.
