After checking the hours of operation and browsing the Camino Real Heritage center website we drove the 120 miles only to find the Center closed. After returning home we very carefully checked the website and found no mention of the closure. Way to go NM!!

It's a beautiful place to visit with a lot of history. The website indicated that it was open but it is closed down.

TEMPORARILY CLOSED. Exhibits may move to Socorro, NM.

Visited in the afternoon on a friday. It was delightful. New, clean and well organized. Everyone was friendly and very informative. I think it was on a par with the Albuquerque Museum. I would recommend it. M Cortes
