I wish I had switched doctors sooner. I never knew that there were better exam experiences out there. The wait was always horrible and at times Id be alone in the exam room for 30+minutes waiting on my doctor. I once spent hours having to go through multiple exams because they couldnt figure out my perscription. Id also like to mention that I have suffered from horrible headaches most of my life...glasses made things worse for me and growing up the headaches would often get so bad Id throwup in class. As I got older pain medication became my only means of coping with the headache pain I experienced behind my eyes. So when I went to a new location this year and talked with a new doctor during my exam at Round Rock Vision I was amazed to find out that I had been wearing TOO STRONG OF A PERSCRIPTION FOR YEARS...causing my headaches.... I was blown away and almost moved to tears. Im so glad I made the switch and I hope this helps anyone who is suffereing with something similar.

Having worked a number of years in the medical field, I knew my dense cataract would be a little challenging to remove. Upon consulting with Dr. Kittleman, I found him to be experienced, considerate, confident, and concerned for the best possible outcome for me. Just a few days after surgery, I can read some of the 20/20 line and even read newspaper size print. He exceeded my expectations, and I would say Dr Kittleman is a master of his profession. The entire team at Eye Associates is welcoming, and I immediately felt at ease with them. Dr Kittleman is a "treasure", and he has my respect and trust.

Have gone to Dr. Kittleman for several years. He is fabulous. Did my cataract surgery. He tells you what you need to know, tells you his opinion, encourages and truly listens to your opinion, then works it out successfully. Never have waited more than a few minutes and the office staff has always been terrific. I, too, would drive quite a ways to keep from losing him as my eye doctor. :)

Cataract in my good eye made corrective measures extremely important. Accordingly, Dr Kittleman recommended caution - we waited until symptoms began to affect quality of life. Jointly decided upon LASIK surgery. Operation took only seconds and vision was restored to 20/20. Very professional staff and Dr Kittleman is the best.

Dr. Kittleman and everyone in his office are all great!
I had seen Dr. Kittleman for an intermittent bleeding in the whites of my eyes, he did everything he could to find the cause, including bringing in a retinologist. Being an honest MD he said he could not find a cause and wanted to actually see the bleeding, and to just come in to the office the next time it happened, since the bleeding never came back I never needed to followup on his offer.
Nine years later when I needed cataract surgery for both eyes I went back to Dr. Kittleman because of the way he had treated me years earlier. He told me everything I needed to know, as there are some decisions and options to make, and offered me a price better than those guys that always advertise on the radio. I chose the laser surgery, a cost my insurance did not cover, to improve the odds for a good outcome. Post surgical I was seeing great the day of and the day after at his office after each surgery i was 20/20 for distance vision (i opted out of monovision) Now I wear glasses only to read, but I need different glasses to see the dash board or my computer screen. Dr. Kittleman had offered to dial back the 2nd eye's long distance vision a little bit, but I declined that option.
One tip, some folks like to be as awake as possible during this surgery, but I told the anesthesiologist (who offered me the options) to choose the degree of sedation that makes it easiest for Dr. Kittleman to do his best work.
