Beautiful area! The CNN center nearby is an awesome place to eat and hang out(disregard the name, you don’t have to be liberal to visit). The old Fulton National Bank Building is so cool. I’ve got to go in the old vault, and it’s incredible. The doors and walls are almost 2 foot thick. Now stop reading and go explore!

Picturesque neighborhood in downtown Atlanta. Lots of good food and drink options as well as performance venues. Extremely walkable--leave the car behind! Many nearby parks and restaurants with both indoor and outdoor seating. Vibrant and beautiful!

Beautiful architecture, historical buildings, close to Olympic Park. This neighborhood is on the edge of the sketchier part of town, so venture here during daylight hours. Plenty of bars and music clubs on the south side of the neighborhood. Beautiful old Atlanta!

This was a vagrant invested, dangerous feeling area to be in, day or night. As a man I didn't feel safe walking alone. I definitely would not recommend that a woman try going it alone at night. There is an interesting phenomenon in this area- there is always some movie or TV series being shot here. They succeed in plugging up several blocks of the area and don't really let you see anything. Some of the important restaurants known in Atlanta are in this area. Parking is a hassle, but if you take the local subway, you can get to and from the subway fairly easily.
