Been wanting to visit this place for years, always hindered by something. Finally made it with one of my grandsons. Awesome experience, made better by the fact the boy enjoyed it as much as I did. There for over four hours and still didn't see everything, but was led on 2 1/2 tour by one of the most impressive young men I've ever met. If you ever visit this place, be sure Dillan is your guide! His tour was well worth the fee, which was only $3 for this old man. I would be happy to pay 10 times that much for such a treat. This is one of Georgia's parks and historical sites which are at the top of the chart among the whole U.S.! These sites charge a $5 parking fee and some of the historical sites charge a token admission fee. Neither are enough for what you get in return. I am so thankful there are folks who labor so intensely to preserve the heritage of our great country!! And if you don't agree, get your sorry butt out. We don't need you messing things up for those of us who love this place!!

It's a really awesome experience! Nice people. Great historical knowledge. Learned a lot. Beautiful sights. My only complaint is them not yelling "Fire In The Hole" before shooting the cannon. I took my 8M old son and from a distance it's still a strong shot. Being up close and even using very good noise cancelling headphones it was just to much. I even had an asthma attack because of the reverb from the shot. It was really cool if you're not a parent to a small child tho. I did NOT like it with a small child. That was this specific event though!

I enjoyed my visit here. There are a few different paths so you can walk as far as you see fit. It was good to learn a out the history. The in house museum was usefull and hadany interesting displays. This is a good activity for a family, a couple, or an individual. There is ample shade to protect you from the summer sun, and parking is plentiful.

It was a great place to visit. The trails are nice, perfect for a nature walk. The map is a bit confusing, but we found our way. It's also perfect for any paranormal fan, we had some paranormal experiences ourselves. I would highly recommend to go.

Great visitor center! Not overcrowded, well kept, immersive interpretative trails; I love the fact that the terrain is not "over-monumented." A must--see for history enthusiasts.
