The historic Grist Mill within Stone Mountain park. Multiple Pokemon GO stops/a gym are here if you aren't here for the history. There is a restroom right above it along with a grilling area, some parking, and some large picnic tables if you want to have a cookout with the family. There are other interesting and historic sites nearby, and the Cherokee Trail goes right through this site.

During our visit to Stone Mountain in February we came across this Grist Mill.  It was in great condition, but not sure if it was functional.  The scene was made for photos at any time of the year.  We took our time enjoying the views, exploring the workings from most angles and enjoyed every moment of our visit.  If you're in the area we suggest that you stop by the Mill for some pleasant surprises.  Wishing you great travels.

Went to the grist mill on a very cold day. Ice had formed on the mill. Very beautiful. The kids enjoyed it.
