Fast-Fix Jewelry and Watch Repair

Big 5 Stars to Fast Fix. My mother went to Fast Fix on Monday to get a ring sized. The ring fit fine when she picked it up that evening. Tuesday the ring was falling off her finger she deals with arthritis really bad. So she took the ring back up to Fast Fix inside Collin Creek Mall and told them the issue. She received the phone call later that afternoon from Alan asking her to come in and speak with him about the ring since it was just sized. He insisted that he just put a ring guard which is this gold metal piece that clips on the bottom of the ring and not to cut and size it again. When she asked how much did she owe the Alan told her just a smile. I do not post many reviews on the internet but when my mother in law told me what happened I felt everyone needs to know. It is hard these days to find good customer service. Personally I have never been to fast fix however next time I need jewelry work done or watch battery I will go visit them.

My husband and I have been to that location a total of 3 times in one year. His watch is or better yet was water resistant but when he took it to the Fast-Fix Jewelry in Collin Creek mall to get a battery replaced it was no longer the same. He went to get the battery replaced and they told him he would receive a call when ready for pick up. Well he received a call and the man told him it was rusty from the inside and that's what was causing the battery to die out. My husband was puzzled, stated he would like to see the watch first before anything. My husband was puzzled because to start off he does not go swimming and the guy was describing the watch as someone had submerged it in water for long periods of time, plus he only wore the watch in special occasions. So the next day he goes up the location and when he asked to see the watch the man stated it had already been fixed. My husband not looking to make a big scene politely told the guy he was supposed to see it before any work got started. Well he ended up not seeing the watch before and had to pay for something that he did not ask for them to do. A couple of weeks later it was raining and he wore his watch and found out that the water was going inside the watch making the glass foggy and no longer water resistant. He took it back, again and told them the watch never in the years he's had it did it ever get foggy and water in it. They told him "no worries, will take a look and will call you". My husband told them that the last time he took it to Fast-Fix they had "fixed" something without his consent and now he had a water problem. The guy said he was really sorry and he would fix it to not worry. When my husband went to get the watch he had to pay an amount for them fixing the problem that was caused by Fast-Fix. My husband being the man he is very passive and not problematic he paid and went on his way. The watch completely stopped working and he has not even wore it out again. My husband and I went to Fast-Fix and he asked if they were to fix the problem they caused would he have to pay. The man laughed and stated that they do great work and he doubts that they did not fix it right and yes most likely he would have to pay. The watch till this day has never been the same and the problem he did not have before is now a problem. The watch is completely not working and now it's just sitting on his dresser. They take advantage of some customers and make it seem that it's the customers fault so they can get more out of it.

Needed a new crystal for my watch so I took it to Cris, he stated it would be a few hours before it would be ready, I informed him I lived an hour away and could not wait that long. He told me he would go ahead and work on it and it would be ready in less than an hour. He was true to his word.
