Game Giant

Game Giant has an amazing inventory and it's organized. Nice owner too. However, everything in that shop can be obtained on eBay and shipped to your front door for less. The reason I'm giving this place a low review is they knowingly buy stolen product and enable the addiction problem that defines and plagues Wilmington. In 2010, I had a roughly 50 cartridge SNES collection worth around 1,500 stolen and they bought it for pennies. To give you an idea of the collection: Mega Man X,X2,X3, Donkey Kong 1,2,3, Chrono Trigger, Harvest Moon, Turtles in Time, Kirby Dreamland 3, etc... Today's value would be much, MUCH more. When I confronted them about it the response was "Uh...sorry, dude." Still go in from time to time to see the selection but I haven't supported them for years knowing that a lot of the product they sell is ill-gotten gains. *EDIT* Response to owner: "Not sure who this person is but seems to just leave bad reviews and comments for every business they review." I have left 28 reviews total, 6 of which were negative (21%) because my experience warranted a negative review. Nice attempt at dismissing my honest review of my real dishonest experience with your business. You bought a lot of classic SNES titles (many of which I originally purchased from your shop!) from a junkie who stole my collection in 2010. Instead of seeing red flags you saw opportunity. "None of this is true or we would not be in business for 23 yrs doing the things they say. Ppl that know and shop us know this review is not true at all." I've talked to you many times face to face over the years. Already stated you are a nice person with a humble perspective of the culture and history of video games. That said, it doesn't mean your business tactics aren't shady like a pawn shop. How's this for honesty: Game Giant is much better than Yellow Dog Discs/Game Stop when it comes to your gaming needs but it's like choosing between a big juicy turd and a steaming pile of poo...

The store is awesome. They also have all of my favorite games, they even have game consoles that are super rare.

Been going to this place since I was about 16..I'm 36 now. Awesome staff. More than fair pricing and the biggest variety in Wilmington.

Decent selection. Prices were kind of high. Not really any kind of good deals.
