I am from out-of-state and travelled to Dallas to undergo GATT with Dr. Grover about a year ago. I flew down on a Tuesday, had my consultation on Wednesday, and underwent the procedure on Thursday. Everything went unbelievably smoothly and efficiently. I was then seen on Friday and the following Monday for post-operative check-ins before flying back home on Tuesday. After the GATT procedure, Dr. Grover and his staff were easy to get a hold of with any questions or concerns. Additionally, the transition back to my local ophthalmologist for continuation of my care was seamless. I cannot emphasize how great Dr. Grover and his staff were to me and my family throughout my time there. Again, I cannot recommend Dr. Grover and his team more highly. Phenomenal place to be patient!!!

It is a scary feeling to find out you have eye pressures in the mid 40's & are at a high risk of losing vision fast. Dr Matthew Emanuel was able to answer a multitude of in depth questions I had about my situation with ease and patience. He ended up performing surgery and now 5 months down the line my eye pressures are still normal (11,13). Dr Emanuel has earned my trust & all my eye stuff will be done by him. Truly a great physician. Thanks again for saving my vision. Dr Fellman is also a very good physician, he came in early one day just for me (like 4 am) just to help me out with an issue.

Everyone is nice and they provide good care but the past 5 times I've been there it has been a 2 hour process for about 10 minutes of actual healthcare. Its about 30 minutes waiting after check in, then they bring you back and run a test, then 20-30 minutes more, then they run another test, then 20 - 30 minutes waiting, then you see the doctor and wrap things up. Then you go out to the lobby and wait to check out which is usually another 20 - 30 minutes. I shouldn't be seeing multiple patients sleeping in the lobby every time I'm there because they've been waiting so long.
Please improve your patient seeing process

My experience at Glaucoma Associates of Texas has been nothing but the greatest experience in all of the medical treatments I have ever had. Dr. Grover is the BEST!!!! Cannot recommend him enough. After being a patient at a well known Houston eye clinic, I had been told by several doctors I would have to live with my Glaucoma and the problems it was given me. In other words, they could not do anything more for me. Not accepting their word, I searched for another Glaucoma Clinic in Texas and thanks to the Internet, found Glaucoma Associates of Texas. I FOUND A GOLD MINE! The staff here are extremely courteous, polite and very professional. It has been an honor to be their patient.

This is an amazing group of doctors. I have nothing put praise for the entire practice staff. I traveled from Pennsylvania to meet Dr. Grover, after being referred to him by my doctor at home. I was diagnosed 10+ years ago and have never found a treatment plan that kept my pressures stable for a consistent amount of time. On arrival in Texas, I was on an oral medication and two different drops, twice a day, just to keep my pressures in the 20's. Dr. Grover performs a procedure of his own, called a GATT I-Track Trabeculotomy, but also offers other options that are not available by doctors elsewhere, which is why I was sent to him. I saw him on a Monday. He scheduled me for my procedure first thing the next morning on my right eye. His office staff was very efficient and informative when it came to setting this up on such short notice. A week later my left eye was done, as well. Both surgeries went well and were successful. I had temporary blurriness in my vision, but it cleared within a few days in both cases. The eye was a bit sore, but nothing Tylenol didn't take care of. I was asked to follow some important rules such as no lifting over 10 lbs, no bending with head lower then the heart, and to sleep with my head elevated. This is to clear up any bleeding and to prevent any new bleeding in the eye that was worked on. I had to stay in Texas for almost two weeks for Dr. Grover to be comfortable to send me back to Pennsylvania safely.During that time I had several appointments to check on both eyes. Each time Dr. Grover and his staff were friendly and engaged in conversation. I was treated like a person, not just a chart or number. The staff showed concern for both me and my family at home. Dr. Grover is very a confident and competent surgeon. I strongly recommend him. Most importantly, I left Texas on NO glaucoma medications and with pressures of 14 and 15!
