Green Gables Inn, A Four Sisters Inn

Lovely Victorian Inn with delicious breakfast, afternoon wine & cheese. The free bike usage was wonderful. Staff is all friendly and helpful.

The Green Gables Inn is located right on the bay of the Monterey peninsula. It is a beautiful Victorian home built in 1888. From the Lacy Suite we can look out of the bay windows and see the cypress trees with the ocean crashing on the beach rocks in the background. This time of year we can watch the mother seals teaching their babies to swim and fish. The service here is wonderful. We, of course, enjoy a free cooked breakfast in the morning. In the afternoon we enjoy veggies, fruit, cheese and wine. In the evening free cookies are available. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and water are available at any time. The Green Gables is located within walking distance of downtown Pacific Grove and Cannery Row and the Monterey Aquarium. The 17 mile drive, that takes you along the coast past Pebble Beach and into Carmel, begins only 2 miles from the Inn. This is a must stay destination. People from all over the world (We met a couple from Israel this morning) choose the Green Gables Inn as their destination.

Let me just say it wasn't what I expected this place is over priced my room was dirty ! The Bed smells needs to be Clean the tub in bathroom is disgusting. Can't believe i paid $235.00 Dollars it was so bad i left that loud Crappy room!

View, location and civilised atmosphere. Guests are pampered and spoiled.

My wife and I loved our stay here. This is a very cozy and comfortable place to stay. The rooms are very spacious and elegant. We love the fireplace the wine and cheese and the location. Would highly recommend it
