Dream Inn Santa Cruz

What a great stay! We really enjoyed our room. The staff were very helpful and kind. We were on the 3rd floor which was ground level because it's on a cliff. The room had a gorgeous view of the beach, wharf and the boardwalk. We ate at the Aquarius both nights. Very good food and live music with a killer view. The decor throughout the hotel was vintage beachy. Very cool! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.

The view from the rooms are AMAZING. The room itself is unique and the colors of the bathroom have a retro feel of orange, yellow, and green (I think) It's been a few months but it was so amazing! There were two water bottles in the room that really saved the day when we forgot to purchase water and returned later at night. Very professional and kind staff at the desk and bell counter!

We loved our stay at the Dream Inn! The pool area was pretty crowded with children on the weekend so be prepared for that. But the room was lovely and the view was incredible. Easy beach access and free bike rentals were also great perks.

This is a wonderful hotel right on the beach next to the public / retail pier. It was built in the 1960s. They have all one would expect minus a workout room. The beach and ocean are for that. The staff are friendly and helpful. This is one of the most expensive hotels in the area. If the sound of the surf, the smell and sight of the ocean are key. This is the place to stay.

Nicely designed place with central ocean front location. Upgraded pool and spa with great sitting area. Loved the receptionists. On the down side my room did not have a microwave that is a must have for the families with kids, had ripped comforter, and spots on the floor and walls that were missed by the housekeeping. Overall a good idea slightly poorly executed.
