Not as good as usual...had to walk back to meat department to get right price on whole chicken I purchased. Cashier didn't call for price check & argued with me about price per lb.

This is probably the dirtiest store I have visited in years. I know it is old but I will never go back. If I could have given it zero stars I would have. There are several Wal-Mart stores around that provide a much better experience.

I am a loyal HEB shopper and when we vacation on South Padre Island we always stock up on supplies at the Port Isabel HEB. The products are fresh and the pricing is lower than back home!!!! They even have beach toys, and other beach necessities.

Favorite grocery store of all time! Being that I am from Minnesota, every time I travel to Port Isabel I stop here. The selection of produce and other groceries, trinkets, and daily use products are plentiful. The staff is very helpful, the prices are decent, and there is a lot of parking available. H-E-B is located by Walmart and other staples around the area making it a convenient location to shop as well. Chances of returning are definite! I highly recommend to all visiting Port Isabel or SPI. The prices are way better than those on the island.

Don't get me wrong, the food is delicious. We picked up some barbacoa that was melt in your mouth amazing. The site itself though is dreary. We came late the first time and there was little to no light in the parking lot. Kind of creeped us out.
