Hampton Inn Ann Arbor-South

The staff was very friendly. They offered a lot of toiletries which was convenient. I really like that they offer complimentary fresh fruit not only at breakfast but all day. The only thing that I noticed that I found uncomfortable was that the sheets and covers are not changed everyday, or ever other day, or for three days. I’m not sure if this is a standard housekeeping practice for guests that stay for longer periods of time (to conserve water and energy) or if that sheets really aren’t changed that often (we stayed for 4 days). I don’t want to be sleeping in sheets that a stranger slept in (clothed or nude) that could have god knows what crawling on them.

OK location on South end of Ann Arbor, close by a mall. Room was standard Hampton. A bottle of water was provided by reception, not in the room. A couple mint chocolates were provided in the room which was nice. Shower was nice and hot with good pressure. AC worked fine. The breakfast I thought was below average. There were 2 buffet trays but only 1 in use. I decided not to eat. Lots of parking.

Room and beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom was quite small, so we needed to take turns, that would be my only complaint. Breakfast was typical but sufficient. Decent coffee. Clean nice breakfast area. Pool was warm but there was no hot tub. The pool would be good for families with kids. Friendly employees in all areas.

Some how my room was charged an extra 200$ dollars because of a noise complaint , here’s the funny thing I wasn’t even in my room at the time . I’ll definitely be taking this up with corporate, they didn’t even tell me I was charged an extra 200$ . I had to find it out on my own by checking my bank statement! Absolute BS ! I do not recommend this hotel at all ! Unorganized room situations , then the customers have to pay because of the hotels room placement. Seems like this hotel will do anything to make the customer pay extra . They are not understanding at all so don’t even try to get a refund . I’ll never be using Hampton inn ever again .

I cant think of anything that i didn't like about this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The room was very clean all the appliances worked just fine. And they are always willing and ready to cater to your needs. The bathroom, though not very big, was very clean and nice and functional! The breakfast buffet was a nice surprise because there was more than enough to eat! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we are going back soon! 🎉🎉👍👍👍👍
