Hampton Inn & Suites I-35/Mulvane

The staff greeted you with a smile. The rooms were of nice size and were clean. It did have a nice pool area and the workout area. They have a hot breakfast in the morning from 6 to 10 AM it was crowded but they did have scrambled eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, waffles, fruits, and a variety of breads. They had coffee at a separate counter from the milk and juice which I did like that, but if you want a glass of water you had to get it from the juice machine and I just figured they should have had a more convenient way for you to get a glass of water.

Our room was a smoking one and we knew ahead of time, but the smoke smell was my only complaint with our experience. (We're not smokers) The gentleman at the front desk told us the room probably would have a lingering smell and offered is a deodorizing spray. It did cover it up and was pleasant smelling. I requested extra pillows, they arrived before I could even put down our bags. The room was clean, food was great, and staff excellent. My husband lost his wallet in the casino, a security guard and machine attendant helped to locate it. It was found (with all contents). This was the best experience we've had in a long time from a hotel/casino. Already have recommended to friends and will most definitely be back!

Great Hotel. VERY clean. Breakfast was always stocked and fresh. Front desk staff was attentive and helpful. The casino is located in the same building, but the smoke smell does not transfer over to the hotel. Inside pool and there's a hot tub too. The gym has good equipment and was empty most of the time. Which is a positive for me. The elevators require keys to access, to prevent anyone not staying there to access floors. Same with gym, laundry, and pool. Parking is iffy.

The staff is absolutely wonderful! They go above and beyond to accommodate your requests! The rooms are always clean. Just a great place to stay! Tell them Mike sent you!

Hotel attached to the Kansas Star casino. Usually sold out Friday and Saturday but reasonable Sunday thru Thursday. Casino buffet is plentiful. Steak house looked good but I didn't try it. Hotel was clean.
