Holiday Inn & Suites Across from Universal Orlando

We stayed here for our vacation to Universal. The location was great, the staff were friendly and tentative, clean facility and overall all, a decent establishment. Our two bed room was spacious and properly equipped. Noise from the street was decent, bathroom was clean and no messy caulk jobs or mold, tub drains well. I only wished the beds (double bed) were queen size. Not sure why they didn't have them since the room was big enough to fit. My other wishes (as to all the hotels everywhere you go) were, more hooks in the bathroom and better (quieter) AC. Its close proximity to the park makes this hotel one of the top picks (among other hotels in the same area) for visiting Universal. The free shuttle service also made visiting different parks a lot easier. Not sure if the city is in the process of building a pedestrian cross bridge, the walk to the park was pretty good. We would stay here again.

I had a great experience and stay at this hotel. The Front Office Manager, Karen Greer was exceptional and went out of her way to ensure that my stay and experience was perfect. Although i stayed at this hotel a month ago, I just found Karen Greer's business card, and because i was so impressed with her professionalism, i came to this review page to leave a positive testimonial for Karen Greer and the hotel. I live in Dubai and because of Karen's professionalism as well as the professionalism of the other staff, I informed the person responsible for HR at our company to ensure we use the Holiday Inn Express next time we have a board meeting and need to book a hotel. Thank you Karen Greer. Also - the location is perfect if you are going to Universal.

We overheard at front desk a woman complaining she had big roaches. Their staff response was this is Florida there is roaches everywhere. Also, our hotel door to our room has a 1 1/2" gap st the bottom. Basically, anyone with a camera scope could take pictures of you in your room. Their hallways smell funky and it's very hot. However, the rooms are nicely decorated, staff is friendly, and it's clean. Housekeeping wouldn't replace towels, cups, or complimentary coffee. Their GM leaves responses when the GM should focus on quality. Please give me a thumbs up if my review and pictures helped you!!!! Thanks

This Holiday Inn is very close to Universal Studios Orlando. It's a busy location and not too far from International Drive but still far enough from International Drive that you aren't fighting that traffic ( International Dr can be a

We stayed at this Holiday Inn for a 5 night stay recently. It was just ok. The cable kept going in and out the entire time, mostly out. We found ourselves pretty irritated when it was raining and wanting to relax in the room, the cable didn’t work. This really should be upgraded from Dish...the double beds were very small, I could not share it with my 8 yr old comfortably (we are not big people), there was a leak from the ceiling in the lobby, the sink barely drained at all, the water didn’t get very hot, minor details like that are making this review go down. HOWEVER, the Holiday Inn team was AMAZING, our favorite being Tiffany, who was very understanding, prompt to all of our (many) requests and went the “extra mile” to make sure our stay was enjoyable, even gave my 8 and 9 yr old gift bags she brought from home (including bubble, juice box and little kid things), that really put a smile on there face and mine. Thanks so much again Tiffany!! Also, housekeeping was really great!! All around everyone made our stay very enjoyable! I would stay here again.
