The Alfond Inn at Rollins College

When traveling to Orlando I always attempt to stay at the Alfond. It's in a great and safe area with lots of shops and restaurants. The rooms are modern and clean and the staff is always happy to help. I try to snag a room with a balcony and they're always accommodating. Stuff of bottle of something into the mini-fridge and relax when the evenings get cooler or maybe watch a distant thunderstorm go by. They also accept pets and are a non-profit. All extra reasons to visit and relax.

Incredible hotel experience. The valet, bellhops, and front desk staff make you feel truly welcome and at home from the second you open your car door. The artwork is interesting and highly diverse from piece to piece. The bar closes relatively early ( we were there on a Sunday ) so it closed at 10. We asked nicely and they remained open until 1130 for our wedding party of about 20 folks. The breakfast selection is fairly wide , the Belgian waffle was great! I Recommend staying here, and I would stay here again myself.

All profits from this hotel benefit Rollins College. The artwork is very unique as well and from the Alfond family. Staff is very helpful and polite. Shopping and dining within walking distance with dining options at the hotel as well.

Wonderful stay. Perfect location to walk anywhere on Park Avenue. Beautiful room. Staff is helpful. Profits fund scholarships for Rollins students.

This is a beautiful, historical inn right by the heart of Winter Park, Florida. The interior is gorgeous, with many private, cosy, sitting areas off of the main lobby. There's a stunning area with a glass dome ceiling that's amazing to sit under whether by sunlight or moonlight. An area by the bar has a fireplace - a terrific place to have after dinner drinks. The bar is quiet & elegant. This inn is the perfect place to relax & disconnect from the world, yet it's only a short walk from the bustling Park Avenue shopping district, where you can find incredible eateries. There's an outdoor courtyard with grass areas. Nice for morning yoga. The staff is top notch. From the valet parking guys to the bar staff, everyone is friendly & knowledgeable. This is a great place to stay for the weekend or just go relax for an evening of food & drinks.
