Home Inspection Carolinas

I have used Home Inspection Carolina since the day I started as an agent in 2012. Always courteous, on time or early, and always educate me. They take the time during the inspection to stop and show me areas of concerns to better understand what needs to be repaired. They are not alarmist! The office staff has also kindly accommodated me with VERY competent inspectors especially when requested. GREAT JOB BY ALL!

Absolutely loved the home inspector that came out to view the property. David did a wonderful job and was extremely thorough in his inspection. As a first time home buyer he listened to all of my questions and concerns, addressed them and walked me through the entire report and his findings before completing the official report. I was very pleased with the thoroughness of the inspection. The company itself seems to be pleasant to work with, before the inspection they send you both and email and text reminder and also send you a picture of whom to expect at the inspection. They are also there for you for any other follow up visits that may be needed after the initial inspection. I am very pleased with the company!! Will certainly be recommending.

Horrible experience with this company. As a first time buyer I wanted the very best company that I could rely on to make sure my house was fully functional and working properly. With a good reputation I chose Carolina Home Inspection I purchased a home in China grove that was built in 1951 and had recently been a flip. Majority of the outlets in the home were 2 prong, 14 to be exact, with five 3 prong outlets as well, as you would expect with an older home with upgrades. Once we moved into the home we came to find that not one of the 2 prong outlets were checked. I was not told this in advance to purchasing the home. My realtor called the owner and I emailed him about our problem. No response. I called the inspector his response was that he did not have a 2 prong outlet checker with him that day. Knowing this, he should have come back out with the proper equipment and finished the job. However he did not. This is unacceptable for a $500 home inspection. I should have been informed that they were not going to complete the inspection that I paid them for. Now i have to pay to have all 14 outlets rewired because it was not properly or thoroughly inspected. Not only were 3/4 of my outlets not working, I had calk missing in bathrooms, a hole in the drywall next to the shower head, a striker plate missing on the back door, my back porch light does not work, and my carport has a bad leak. None of which was on the inspection report. Overall highly dissatisfied with Carolina Home Inspection. Poor customer service and halfway doing the job. I would put my investment and trust elsewhere.

Aaron was on time, thorough and efficient. He took the time to explain all his findings and sent us a nicely (colored) inspection report that included pictures as well as written explanations. I would highly recommend this company (and especially Aaron). It was 100% worth the money.

Home Inspection Carolinas was very prompt in their service and clearly explained all issues with the house we were buying. Scott walked us through the house (inside and out) and pointed out issues/concerns to make sure we understood the work that would need to be done if we chose to have repairs made. He also provided a detailed report for us to review within hours of completing the inspection.
