Hospitality Inn & Suites Jacksonville

Wow, where do I start? The room was stinky. I'm assuming it was because of the nasty carpet. There were little roaches inside and big roaches outside. The towels were dirty and I came home and notice a rash on one of my thighs. It turned out to be ringworm. This is basically an efficiency. If you're coming to be in an inexpensive motel/hotel but still care for cleanliness, you should keep looking.

For the price, this is a decent place to stay. If you are looking for anything posh, not the place. But it is clean enough for the price. I especially liked that the room had a door that led onto a small patio that opened onto a courtyard grassy area and swimming pool. I would stay again.

The front desk staff was great. The room, well I don't know WHAT exactly went on there before our stay, but I'll just say there was leftover glitter and fake flower petals in the room. Housekeeping specifically asked if we needed anything when they came around the first morning and didn't bother to leave an extra towel (there were 3 of us & only 2 towels). And we asked for another roll of toilet paper since ours was almost out. When we returned in the evening, I had to go to the front desk to get both. That was night one! Day 2 wasn't much better since our neighbors apparently decided to smoke their pot outside, but where their door was in relation to ours was about 6 feet so it came in our room through the air conditioner too. No I probably wouldn't stay there again, but we figured we were only going to be sleeping and showering there so as a last minute reservation, it was what we did.

1 star because I have to to review. Absolute false advertising. I have no idea how the ratings are so high here. The lamp shades in my room are busted, there are patches all over the walls and ceiling from obvious large holes. And to my dismay when i entered through the "patio door" there's a bag of trash and the can for cigarettes has chicken bones in it. I know it's a cheap hotel, but there should still be standards. This is not ok.

Came in from N.J.... Had a great stay breakfast was great Grits were great !!! Housekeepers were very nice. Pool was great with the music. 1 complaint Please get lounge chairs for the pool area. Thanks for the Hospitality.
