Other than long lines which are to be expected in any government services office the staff was very helpful despite the fact they had a hard time printing off the paperwork I was waiting for . They were able to answer my questions after consulting with other staff members and eventually I left with what I believe were the correct answers . They do have automated kiosks to sign up for insurance through the affordable care act the last time I checked . Overall it could have been worse .

When applying for medical and SNAP and help as adults... one has to work with at least two different offices. When I called to receive help in filling out the paperwork, I was told to "just fill it out and get it in or you will be deleted from services." When taking in papers to the Washington County office, as we live in Washington County, we are repeatedly told that we have to deal with both offices directly, that they refuse to take papers and put them in the system to assist us or do an inter-office transfer. The office is completely unfriendly for those with disabilities... no seats outside for those with mobility impairment, and the last time I was there we had to manually open the door and hold it which was difficult with my files and crutches that I have to use much of the time. There is no help in getting information. In Washington State, there is a computer bank for people to use and print out what is needed to speed the system up. At this office, no such thing, and they refer you to printer companies to rent their computers, or the library which costs for every single paper used in printing the massive proof required every time we fill out papers.

Employees are always rude, incompetent, and are completely unwilling to help regardless of the situation. You sit on hold for hours just to be hung up on or be told they can’t help. It took me filing a formal complaint to get my daughter’s insurance fixed.

I never had any issues with them. I felt like the case workers are kind and helpful except for a few mistakes here and there. I was in and out fast. Wait time is not too bad.
