Ichiban Japanese Restaurant & Steakhouse

I can remember when these places were much more of a fine dining experience. Now they are just a quick place for the kids to have fun! I ordered Sake with my meal. They have a bar, about the size of a small closet, but you can hey a drink here. It's just so average.

Such an awesome and fun place to eat but it is a little pricey. Definitely don't order anything from the bar though unless you actually don't want alcohol in it. Ordered 4 or 5 drinks and couldn't taste alcohol in any of them. Definitely not worth the price of the drinks:/ At least the delicious rolls were so good that they saved the meal since we didn't order hibachi the last time we went. Hibachi is always great though.

We miss our server for the past several years!!! Where is Melissa?? How is one of your best servers missing?? We waited almost 10 minutes for a drink order then longer yet for food order. It was NOT busy! It is a shame that you’ve lost an excellent server who set the bar high for other servers, but perhaps that is why she is gone... too difficult to live up to. Shame. Damn shame!

I love this place. If you like hibachi you will love this place. Food is always good. The chefs are entertaining and friendly. Service is always good. It can get a bit loud when busy. I recommend going for lunch on the weekend. Same amount of food but cheaper. Make reservations for dinner.

The food was okay. My Med rare filet and my shrimp were over cooked. The rice had a good flavor and the yum yum sauce was more tangy than I’ve had at other Hibachi restaurants. The waitress tried her best but was clearly inexperienced. The chef was entertaining and tried to interact as much as possible with us. The setting surrounding the grill was not clean enough. Overall I will give them a second chance in the future.
