I typically hike/run up to the Indian Seats a few times a week. It's really a great area, because you can really customize the amount of time you want to spend on the trail. In a hurry? Enter from the Bettis-Tribble Gap entrance and stay to the right on the trail and you'll be at the Indian Seats in 3/4 of a mile. Want a longer visit? Try Spot Rd entrance and get in the loop.

I love Indian Seats at Sawnee Mountain Preserve. I hike it almost daily, it's great exercise, and the trails are well maintained, and marked. The staff at the office off of Spot Road are friendly and very helpful.

Tucked away just outside Cumming city limits is this Very nice casual hike to the Indian Seats. The trails are a nice steady walk. Paths are clearly marked. At the top of course there are many places to sit and breathe in it’s beauty. The “Indian” seats are large rocks that are on the edge that have a nice view of Cumming and North Georgia

Hiked up this morning for sunrise from the Bettis Tribble Gap Rd entrance! Took about 15 minutes to get to the top. The view is beyond beautiful! It is totally worth the hike up!
