This is a beautiful trail leading to the paper mill ruins. The trail is nice and wide and easy to walk. There is a bridge on Papermill Road that goes over the creek right by the ruins. One could easily be dropped off at that bridge to have easier access to the ruins. These ruins are a popular spot for portrait photography like family portraits and engagement pictures.

Absolutely stunning place to visit. So it's extremely confusing to understand the area so I'm going to post a few tips. If you want to go straight to the ruins without fully hiking then follow the road side until you see a small path. The ruins are right there. If you want to walk on the water or rocks, you definitely need good shoes or boots as there isn't much of a path by the water near the ruins. There's also a small pond where you can relax or fish located near the main parking entrance. If you want the full hiking experience, go left for the creek and ruins and right for the pond.

One of the best, most beautiful, walking/hiking/biking trails anywhere. Because of how the trails ate laid out and intertwine, you can walk for miles while never being more than a mile from the parking lot/exit. Terrain is hilly and beautiful. There are usually lots of people (and doggies) to meet. The ruins of the old paper mill are very cool.

If you've never been here before be sure to bring bread crumbs. This was my first visit and for the first hour and a half of the walk the trail was well-maintained and there was plenty of signage. But at one point that all disappeared, I got terribly lost and I'm no stranger to walking trails. Thank God it wasn't late at night, and thank God my I had my asthma inhaler with me. Also thank God I finally ran into a person who could direct me back to the parking lot. I was lost and upset having to climb over broken trees Fallen trees Rocky areas and climb up steep slopes. This is supposedly maintained by the State Park Service. They're doing a lousy job. Definitely want my $5 parking fee back. Beautiful Trail but a bit dangerous. I will definitely think twice before coming here ever again

The parking is $5 per car, so make sure you have cash with you when you go. The pond, creek, and ruins are beautiful. We saw many birds, fish, toads, chipmunks, etc. The only bad part about this park is it's map. It's confusing, and they don't have a physical copy of the map for you to take along. If you are a cooler, there are two bike trails as well. The hiking was pretty easy!
