Joe's Kansas City Bar-B-Que

Best BBQ I've ever had, hands down. Great to carry out of you're feeding a crowd. Really good sauces and most importantly you put on your own sauce so you don't get some drippy mess, just lovely perfectly cooked meat. The fries are generous and delicious and made fresh so you never get cold fries. The number one seller to me is the constant quality, in all my years eating at different locations it's always perfect, fresh, and delicious. Whenever we have out of town guests Joe's is always on the list of must - eat places. Absolute highest marks.

First off, I'm from Texas working in the Kansas City area for a while. I've tried 5 BBQ joints in the area, and I haven't been impressed with any of them, some wee just a put excuse for BBQ. However, Joe's Kansas City BBQ was pretty darn good. The brisket doesn't have the bark I'm used to, and it's sliced as thin as baloney or lunchmeat, but the flavor was good. I ordered the "Z-man" sandwich after hearing several others in front of me order it. It's a sliced brisket sandwich with 2 onion rings and smoked provolone cheese and it was really good. Their sauce is sweet, which if fine with me, and good. I loved the seasoning in their French fries, too. I'll definitely be back.

Oh my goodness where do I start! This place has the best BBQ you can get! Same with the sides! Everything is in house cut, smoked, prepared, and baked. This place has that good old Kansas feel, and taste. It has exceptional service, and amazing prices. Ive gone here at least 4 or 5 times, and its always a new flavor and a new experience. Highly recommend!

Quick and friendly service with a gritty old-school barbecue feel! The food comes in a generous amount and leaves you wanting more, especially with the Joe's special barbecue sauce! The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, while also being able to intertwine the old-school American diner.

Great BBQ. I ordered for my staff on Thursday and my staff were pleasantly satisfied with the food. Two of my staff just love bread, so their Texas toast was a hit with them. Meats are tender and juicy, great flavor. Staff were friendly and courteous. I have found my new BBQ joint.
