Sunset Grill

I would give 5 stars if the food was better. The service was great and the people and management were the best. I am excited to try other items on the menu besides the burger. It was medium instead of medium-well. It wasn't that great tasting either. I couldn't tell if it was the seasoning or the quality of meat.

This charming restaurant masquerades as an average bar and grill from the outside. The menu, however, is large and filled with comfort foods and Southwest favorites. We went for brunch. There were several types of omlettes, Benedicts, waffles, pancakes, bowls and wraps, as well as other egg combos. Our waitress was attentive but not hovering. It is a neighborhood favorite.

Great happy hour! Best all around priced happy hour I've seen in Kansas City in a while. The reduced-priced appetizers are a great variety and the drink prices are great also. Will have to try dinner there soon!

First time at Sunset Grill in OPKS.... Looks amazing, ginormous portions that will last at least 2 meals, an amazing spicy bloody Mary, and great music!
