Wonderfully preserved piece of history about an incredible man who is little known by the general public. His contributions to developing modern science were enormously important.

Well worth a visit! A hidden gen in the town of Northumberland. Had passed this museum many times and never stopped. Was so glad I finally did. The volunteer staff is knowledgeable and informative and make you feel like family. The house tour is informative and well worth the small admission charge. The small gift shop in the visitors center has great items to help remember your visit. Highly recommend a visit to learn more about Joseph Priestley and his family and how his discoveries changed our nation. (One helpful tip when visiting: cash or check only accepted for admission and gift shop items... no credit or debit cards)
