KC Complete Auto Service--Main Street

I purchased a vehicle from another private individual. The car was Slash is in pretty good shape. However, there were some things that needed to be done to it, both immediate and as soon as you can type things. After taking my car to a well known establishment to get the repairs done, they actually screwed my car up. 4 visits and 3 bills later I said to h*** woth it, I'm finding a different shop. Well thank God for the mechanic Jeff and store manager Matt. They not only fixed Firestone's mistakes in half an hour but also took the time to show me what actually had been done to my car by Firestone (not at all what they said the did and billed me for). They also prioritized my repairs and were very knowledgeable and accommodating to my schedule and financial situation. My car now drives better than ever had before, it is in perfect condition in my bill was a third of what Firestone and other places for quoting me. That's because the other places didn't actually know what was wrong with my car, KC Complete Auto Service diagnose the problems and diagnose them correctly saving me hundreds and hundreds of dollars and multiple trips. Long story short, I have found my go to shop for as long as I live in Kansas City and highly recommend KC Complete Auto Service to anyone in the area, or if you're like myself and live half an hour away I would still recommend it hands down. Great staff, fantastic technicians, friendly and enjoyable experience. These are not words that you typically hear when you take your car into a shop but I cannot stress enough how different this shop is from any other car repair shop I have ever been to. If there was a rating higher than five stars they deserve it, I will share this experience and my recommendation to anybody and everybody that I know that has a vehicle. Avoid this place at all cost. My son took our Jeep in for an inspection and they failed it saying the rear sway bar bushings were bad and quoted him $231.88 to replace them which is very high. Fortunately he knows enough about cars to know they were trying to take advantage of him and declined the service. We then got an appointment with the mechanic our family has used for years who quoted us less than $100 to replace them but when we took the Jeep to him he said the bushings were fine and the Jeep passed inspection without any issues. This type of company is the type of "rip-off" companies that make all reputable mechanics look bad.

Their staff is friendly, prices are reasonable, and I was in and out, it was my 1st time there but won’t be my last. Great experience. Highly recommend!

Ok, so first off, I have to say that my experience was a little tainted by the fact that they were dealing with a door that had been broken the night before. So maybe the people working were a bit distracted with that. I dropped my vehicle off at 8. I called at 1:30 for an update. They close at 4, mind you. I waited until 3:30 to call again to make sure that my car would be ready to go. The fact that I had to call twice for any updates sort of wasn't what I expected. Otherwise, seems like a good business, everyone was polite and professional. I'd use them again and would also change my review to reflect if that part of the experience changed for the better.

90% of the time always have a good deal with KC Complete Auto they were diligently as best as they could figure out the problem diagnosis and fix it period labor and price Fair equal Works across the board
