MD Auto Repair of Kansas City

My car was rumbling below, so, remembering that The Muffler Doctor had fixed the exhaust system on my car years ago, I went there. No appointment, and still they had the problem diagnosed, my system replaced and me on my way in just under an hour. That alone is worthy of a good recommendation, but when I got home I got my receipt from their previous fix. Happened in 2013... that system lasted four years and 60,000 miles! This is a great shop, with quality parts, workmanship and people.

Fixed my issue, but they charged $100 for “diagnostic testing” on top of the labor for my repairs. I don’t mind paying for the time it took to diagnose the issue. However, after explaining the issues I was having they agreed to check the suspension first, which is what they ended up repairing. I made it clear up front that I didn’t want anything else repaired, so the $100 charge to diagnose a bunch of additional issues wasn’t necessary.

Muffler doctor has been a very honest place we have been taking vehicles thier for 2 yrs never go to anyone else.

This is Mrs. Paul Vogt :) I called Muffler Doctor because I saw what great reviews they had. It was super easy to get me in and making an appointment was a breeze. I arrived there, had a little trouble finding the place, and it was not in a great part of town. But I got out of my car when I saw a friendly looking man walk through the parking lot. I figured if anything happens, now I'm safe. He asked me if I was there to see the Muffler Doctor and he pointed me in the right direction. Turns out, this gentleman works there :) The waiting area was clean and comfortable. After a wait that wasn't excessively long they told me the diagnosis and gave me a very reasonable quote and time to decide. I called them back the next day with our decision and once again, they were able to get us in right away. They got it fixed sooner than they had quoted and we were able to use the first time customer discount. What really stole the show was that not only did they do a fantastic job! But I received a phone call not quite a week later from the same gentleman just checking in and making sure everything was going alright. Talk about personalized, caring, honest service. I could not recommend them more!!
