La Fountain Mexican Restaurant West Valley

My husband came here for lunch because he saw their lunch special sign. He ordered a chicken chimichanga and said it was really good. So we decided to come back here as a family. The food was so delicious! I ordered the chicken fajitas. I was impressed that the veggies were crispy and the chicken had the perfect flavor. The portion sizes were huge too! I liked that they had kid options, either Mexican food like a burrito or normal options like corn dog/chicken strip and fries. The wood tables and wood chairs added to the ambiance and made this place unique. The service was top notch too. They had a good fluid system in place. Everyone was kind and helpful too. Price was very reasonable too.

We haven't been here for a couple years so we decided to go this week. Still good but some recipes have changed. Salsa for the chips is different, a combination of cooked and fresh with lots of cilantro. I am not a fan of cilantro but if you are this is great for you. The rest of the dinner was good, but like I mentioned before, some things are different.

I lowered my 5 star review to a 1 due to service experienced on 5/27. Chicken burrito was cold. Cold chicken was on top and cheese wasn't melted. Bean burrito was also cold and the cheese wasn't melted. Instead of someone fixing it, we were serviced with attitude saying that bean burritos don't go into the oven. Great, but why aren't the beans hot or even warm? They should be hot enough to melt the cheese. They offered to warn up the chicken but I'd rather eat my shoe laces. Still had to pay for food that wasn't edible. Incredibly disappointing.

Not an easy location to get to on a busy main road, but worth the effort. Large portions! Had three cheese enchiladas and oh my! That was a huge platter. Tasty! The best feature is the absolutely quick service from order to served food. They are fast! Plus, they have daily specials. Will eat there again.

I have been looking for a good Mexican food restaurant for a long time. This is definitely it. Well lit, very clean, friendly and very helpful staff, and to top all that the food was delicious. Best chips and salsa I have had in a long time. The steak a la ranchera was really good. Just the right amount of peppery zing to it. I look forward to returning many times.
