Service was good and steak cooked right. Sauces are good, but not enough. Menu is American food with a French title. Decor is super dated and looks more like a re-creation of an old restaurant in the Alps. Not a hint of Paris anywhere.

I can't rave enough about LaGare. It's a classic location that has maintained a traditional three course menu of delicious food for reasonable prices. It's a great date night location for people who enjoy traditional dining experiences. The food is always excellent, traditional French fare.

Nicest staff. We had to wait to be seated for about 45 minutes. But once we were the food and service were top notch

My wife and I had a great meal at La Gare. For such a nice place the prices are excellent. The service was top-notch. It's a bit cramped inside (you will be almost rubbing elbows with the tables around you) but the quality of the service and food more than make up for it. We are looking forward to going back.
