Lakewoods Resort & Lodge

Well being as we were not here for snowmobiling the review will be somewhat bias. First of all the lodge is super cool and very unique and this must be one of those snowmobile destinations. There was hundreds of sleds when we stopped. Are room well, they are very dated the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. No outlets by the bed sucked. The place needs a update of the rooms. The bar is very cool. The bartenders are phenomenal the food was ok. This place is very very cool. The sleeping rooms not so much.

We loved our stay. Had a cozy and clean condo (3 bedroom!) with two bathrooms and a fireplace. The lodge has a surprisingly warm swimming pool and hot tub. We will definitely be going back

Went here for a Friends get away. We stayed in a villa on the golf course. We had a group of 8 guys and everyone had a bed. Staff was great we had some issues with a fridge but they were quick to respond. Snowmobile trail runs right through the property, which was a big bonus. Restaurant at the main Lodge for breakfast is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. It took 30 minutes to get menus, took another 30 min for water and order taken. We got our food and hour and 30 min after we sat down. We watched groups that came in after us get their food and leave before we even gave our order.

Lakewoods is an awesome place to bring family or friends. The cabins that they have available are better than what you'd expect. I love Lakewoods.

Make sure you inspect everything on any of the snowmobiles you rent. When we did our walk around we didnt check to see if the windshield was broken. After we left and rode about 30miles we were crossing the lake and the windshield fell into my lap and hit the kill switch and shut the sled off. It was an unlucky situation. I dropped the windshield off at the rental office that night after hours, and I called Bob Saturday morning to let him know what happened and told him where we put the windshield. When I returned the sled on Sunday he came in and accused me of getting drunk and breaking it myself, or someone vandalized it. He came to this conclusion because they never had a windshield fall off. I got hit for the windshield and 100 dollars in labor. I will never go back to Lakewoods and I will tell everyone I know on all the snowmobile club sights I use.
