Lamancha Animal Rescue

We adopted a puppy from Lamancha two days ago and had such a great experience. My emails were answered in a timely manner and Alexis was wonderful in helping us get the best fit for our family. The farm was beautiful and it was so nice to see so many volunteers taking such good care of the animals. Everyone was friendly and you could tell loved being there. I am surprised by the negative reviews, we couldn't be happier with our experience!

After many months of searching (and lots of meet and greets and approved applications at other rescues) We found Lexi (or she found us!) and we adopted her from Lamancha in November 2017. She has brought us so much joy to our family! I’m very surprised by the negative reviews below—but If you are considering adopting, I would highly recommend lamancha. The facility is very clean, dogs are happy and well fed. Lamancha was extremely helpful from the beginning with the adoption approval (they called all of my references) to finding Lexi (we went without a specific dog in mind) and adopting her. We were absolutely given the time to get to know Lexi (and play fetch with the kids!) in the large fenced in yard before we brought her home that same day...something anyone adopting should do before bringing a dog home. All dog owners will tell you that you need time and patience for training and integrating them into your family...and believe me when I say it is so worth it❤️

My wife and I rescued a dog from Lamancha today and the process couldn't have been better. We mainly dealt with Joe and he did everything he could for us and the dog we brought to meet the one we just rescued. The other staff was just as nice and helpful from start to finish. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to adopt, they have alot more animals other than dogs too. Thanks everyone for helping us with our adoption.

I rescued two dogs from Lamancha Animal Rescue. The first was adopted last year and the second was adopted this January. Both dogs have been an absolute blessing to me and I to them. The folks at Lamancha are a golden-hearted bunch who are doing all they can to give all kinds of animals great homes. Both of my girls are sweet, came to me clean and healthy and just keep me smiling. Stay calm and rescue!

Impossible to contact them, do not return phone calls and emails in a reasonable time. Very disrespectful in personal contact, people who work there are rude. Amazing they survive??? I wish they would care about people and about animals. I have received response only after posting this bad review-is that what it takes? If you do not want to have your heart broken do not visit this shelter. I am not sure their mission, they keep you in suspense for a week or more and then change their mind because the manager told them to do so. Then she twists the facts and takes delight in humiliating you. Cruelty at its best. A rescue??? Think twice. And again, the volunteers are very nice, it is the staff that has an attitude. But that just proves the point. Dishonesty and disrespect should be their motto.
