Main Line Animal Rescue

Although we didn't end up adopting from MLAR, I would like to commend them on an outstanding experience. They were extremely helpful, professional, and punctual. Also, upon visiting their facility, I can attest to how much they love and care for the animals that live there. This is a quality adoption agency, and they were excellent to work with. Ask for Jennifer, she is very knowledgeable and friendly.

They were more interested in soliciting a donation than placing a dog. They want potential adopters to divulge their incomes so that they can target those with large incomes for future donations. If you refuse to divulge your income, they don't want to let you adopt. It's a scam to keep a steady stream of cash going to the person who runs the shelter. It would be interesting to see how many dogs per $ are actually placed into homes from this shelter. It seems that the same dogs are stuck in the shelter for a very long time. Just because the name has Main Line in it, doesn't mean it isn't a scam.

Main Line Animal Rescue was incredibly helpful. They have a very welcoming environment and take amazing care of their animals. There is not a better rescue for animals to be at, it is as close to a home as it could get for them. The staff helped me chose the perfect cat after months of searching other rescues. It could not have been better.
