Great place to get animals from. The 2 dogs (the orange one Buster is really a dog trapped in a cats body. He actually comes when I call him and greats me happily at the door everyday. Never seen a cat do that before) and cat I've gotten from here. Ginger(the cat) had some issues when we 1st got him (stemming from the previous owners) but they were diligent and informed/gave me the meds he needed to take to get better. Lucy is an amazing dog and very well trained. When we met her you would have thought we knew her since birth. Process is fairly easy and they do give you information regarding the pet transition.

Rescuing hundreds of pets monthly! The problem we had was choosing: even after eliminating the pets we knew wouldn't work out there were ten good candidates for adoption left! (Be aware that this location is very... clinical. This is not the pretty kind of shelter you find in the suburbs. These animals need homes just as badly, though.)

This is my first time being a pet parent so I am truly excited to be getting a cat preferably either a male or female between 2-3 yrs old that I can raise up.my four children are grown and married so I need companionship.

When my wife found out about ACCT we loaded up our 2 dogs and picked are kids up at school and drove 2.5hrs to ACCT. We found a sweet deaf pit bull there. Poor thing was found changed to a telephone pole with no food or water for 3 days. Went back again a few weeks ago and adopted 2 sweet cats. We will obviously will be going back at some point.
