Kitty Cottage Adoption Center Inc

For nearly 12 years, our family has adopted 5 different cats from Kitty Cottage. In 2006, we adopted Tabby, Pasha and Julie and they were 3 unique and special cats for us for a very long time. Last month, my Mother and I went to Kitty Cottage to donate some items. While we were there, we decided to browse through the different rooms that Kitty Cottage has to interact with the cats. This place is totally different compared to your typical animal shelter because the cats have full access throughout the room and are not caged at all. The first room we went into had 2 cats that we ended up falling in love with in 6 month old Domino and 5 month old Troy. We went there not looking to adopt but when we saw how sweet they are and how well they got along together, they melted our hearts and had to adopt them. The employees and volunteers have strong knowledge of all the cats and provided us with a great experience while we were there. Like us humans, cats have an origin story of their own as well and Kitty Cottage does an amazing job to give you every piece of information possible on each cat that is under their roof. Also, we have had other family members adopt their cats from Kitty Cottage and they are absolutely in love with their cats and with the service they have received from Kitty Cottage. With adopting 5 different cats for almost 12 years, we could not be happier with our furry, four legged friends. If you are looking to add some joy and happiness into your life, adopting your cat from Kitty Cottage is a great place to go to not only find you joy, but but for a cat as well in giving he or she a forever home.

Wonderful place to find and adopt a kitty! They are super knowledgeable about cats. They get to know each cat and can find the right match for you. No cages so the cats are socialized with other cats and people. We adopted a couple little guys from Kitty Cottage and they're a great fit for our family. The employees and volunteers really care and it shows.

We were greeted by a volunteer at the main entrance and led around the facility. The volunteer was very knowledgeable about the cats/kittens and answered all of our questions. You can tell how much Kitty Cottage cares about its animals because of their requirements for families looking to adopt a pet (for example, all family members must visit the center to ensure that they will be able to get along with the cat.) The building itself is clean and well maintained, and I did not experience an allergic reaction as I had at a previous animal shelter. Additionally, the cats are allowed to roam about and are not confined to cages. Hopefully we will be able to call one of Kitty Cottage's cats our own in the near future!

You can see the cats personality because they're able to roam free. You will not go home with a cat that day they do a check to make sure that you are qualified to take care of a cat

An automatic 4 stars for being an adoption center. I've been there only once so far (with my daughter to inquire about volunteering). They have cats ranging from kittens to full grown. The building is an older house with multiple rooms so the cats can be cage-free.
