If i could give this place 0 stars I would.
I saw a bunny that I really wanted to adopt and had called the shelter to inquire about him. They lady I spoke to over the phone told me great things about him & told me to come in because he was ready to go home. I simply asked if she could reserve him for the next hour because I was driving from a different state to get there, and she said she could if I paid a fee for it. I didn't think it was really worth paying a fee since I was going to be there in less than an hour, so I gave her my phone number to call if someone else went to buy him within the hour. After speeding to get there, the ladies at the front desk told me he was already taken. They didn't apologize for not calling me sooner and instead tried to get me to take another bunny home. I was so upset that they didn't have the courtesy to call me or even have the decency to apologize.
I'm all for supporting animals, but I don't think I can adopt from the heartless people that work there.

I've gotten 2 dogs from here. 1st one as a puppy, black labrador/poodle mix before there was the labradoodle, back in 1974. She was the perfect pet until a broken hip in 1992, and we had to have her put down. If she had been 4, I would have had the vet do surgery, but she was 18, had hip dysplasia, & for several years was blind & deaf. The deafness & blindness wasn't a problem because she knew where everything was & how to tell us what she needed. In 1995 we adopted a husky mix, with the most beautiful blue eyes she was a year old when we got her. She was a good dog, but unfortunately got cancer, so she was put down in 2003. I've taken strays to them, and they are always so pleasant & helpful.
