This is my favorite local spot to hike. I'd like to say you should have some experience in hiking, before you attempt this, just because some areas are a little tough. Kids and pets are a 50/50, only because at one point I do not think a child would be able to surpass some challenges the hike has to offer. As well as for dogs, I would not recommend small dogs unless you plan on holding it at some points. Overall excellent hike for beginners and intermediate hikers, enjoy! Be safe!

Great park with many activities to do.

The tunnel is anold railroad roadbed, and in the winter it is filled with icecicles that look like stalagtights. The view out on to the gorge is worth the trip.
