The drive here from Rt. 1 was one of the best drives ever, its a must. get off the highway and see this place. its challenging on a motorcycle so take it slow,High winds, lots of blind corners and lose stone/wood/leaves. I took Nacimiento-Fergusson Rd, from Rt. 1 to Rt. 101 its like a rally cross coarse.

Back to nature! If you plan to do a hike or backpacking trip in the Big Sur area, the USGS maps are all out of date with incorrect distances, camp locations, and trail routes.
