Microsoft Store - Woodfield Mall

Good store but no different then anyone else. The staff was knowigable and ready to help. Their Xbox live display was a good place for my son to play with.

Always enjoy going to the Microsoft store when I get drug along to a mall. Today was no different when I saw the store I was releived to get a chance to see a change up from women and kids clothing stores. I get in there and the first thing I see is a virtual reality item that looked interesting so I picked it up to look at it to attempt to see how it works... I was rudely told that I should not be touching it and I should wait to be helped. He did ask a lady to come assist and she did but at that point I really did not want to be in there because of how rude the guy was.... It was back to waiting out front of kid's and women's clothing for this guy. I will also note that there had to be close to 10 workers in there and most were huddled in the back. Two were playing Xbox against each other. They did ask if I needed help as I walked by them but I would not have made the mistake of looking at the virtual reality item in the front if one of the several workers were maning that section.

Great store with excellent support for all your Microsoft products, wether you bought it there or not. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Store is brightly lit and has great displays. The staff offers coffee, tea, or water while you wait while the work on your item.

Linda is the worst Manager I’ve ever met. Very awkward and unhelpful. She sucks at explaining anything you ask about. They sell broken computers and then when you call and complain, they refuse to help. They tell you one thing on the phone, and then another thing in store. I will most definitely be selling the replacement computer I just got for a MacBook Pro. I will never return to Microsoft ever again. Don’t waste your time or money. go to Apple if you want something that works. Too bad you can’t give negative stars otherwise I would.

There was a cool vs game that people were lined up to play so I let me 10 year old nephew wait in line to play. After 30 minutes of waiting it was his turn and the employee told him and this other kid behind him that they had to be 13 to play. There were no signs to let us know of the age restriction and none of the 3 employees that were managing the game thought to tell them beforehand that they were to young to play. They just let them wait in line that whole time.
