Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Marietta

Don't let the decent price scare you away. This is an extremely well kept and clean place to stay. My family stays here every time we come to visit family. This place always smells fresh, the staff is ready to assist without attitude, the breakfast offerings are quite nice, everything tastes fresh. They put out popcorn during the day, the beds rest very well and they use all white sheets and duvets (which I love because I know they're bleached). Attention to detail for housekeeping is A+. We stayed multiple nights and DH spilled a little syrup from breakfast in room on our sheets. Not much... But she caught it without our calling her attention to it. That just really said a lot to me. Debra has been working there for years and attends to the breakfast duties. No matter how busy they are for breakfast she always keeps on top of it. Areas stay clean, and there is always plenty of food for everyone. Employee retention tells you a lot about an establishment. Especially in this type of business. This place is a little gem! You'll be happy you chose this hotel, but you better reserve before you get there. This place fills up quick!

This is a nice, modern hotel. They offer a continental breakfast, but it isn't very good in my opinion. They offer some fresh fruit, cereal and yogurt. The only hot food they have for it is you can make a waffle yourself (but the line probably isn't worth it for that). Our room was clean when we got here, but when the maid service came, they didn't even change our sheets on the bed. This is also the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in.

We always stay at this hotel when we visit Marietta, Ohio. All our friends stay there as well. The rooms are pleasant and clean. The breakfast is modest but it is surrounded with lots of low cost eateries. If you want an inexpensive stay with good service and a pleasant surrounding I would recommend it.

Exceptionally great experience. Hotel was spotless. The staff was personable, professional and hospitable. Could not have had a better stay. Will be staying here again!

We stay here once or twice a year when we make a trip to Parkersburg WV. Staff is friendly and the place is very clean. Highly recommend it!
