Cat Sitting is the only service I have used, and Muddy Paws has been great for the past 3 years that I have been using them regularly every time I am out of town. I went through 2 or 3 duds of other companies & private pet sitters before I found them. They have a fabulous website app where visits can be scheduled (requested & confirmed via email) that sends automatic updates for every visit, showing the specific employee that arrived with exact times and including photo uploads from the visit of my cat (so I know they actually showed up lols). The employees always respond to the comments if I have a question and are considerate, great about little conveniences like also bringing up the mail or packages when they're there. Prices are reasonable - pretty much the going rate, same as the other companies I tried or researched. Fabulous cat sitters! Can't comment on how they are with dogs or dog walking.

I assume muddy paws is fine for the dog from UP. However they lack experience and expertise when it comes to a dog of any other temperament. I have to say i am disappointed in my experience with muddy paws. I began our entire interaction warning that my dog Lola is a high anxiety dog who takes a lot of time with new people and would need someone with patience and experience. They unfortunately sent over a walker with not as much experience with a high anxiety barker like my Lola (I would like to preface this to say that Lola is a fearful dog but NOT AGGRESSIVE, has had walkers for YEARS and never had the issues occur like what happened. Lola has to this day NEVER bitten anyone person, dog, squirrel) I have a security camera set up in the apt and when day 2 did not go well and she was unable to get Lola out for a walk i watched the video and saw exactly why. She stood in the corner of the apartment by the front door threw treats at her and said "stop barking" Lola never even got off the couch. I voiced my concerns immediately and let them know I thought this walker was not a good fit, they continued to have her try and work on Lola for two weeks with no success. I voiced my concerns again and demanded a new walker and the owner came without any introduction and came into my home and yell at Lola (while she barked, never getting off the couch with her tail between her legs which i have on video). I expressed because she had never met Lola with me and been properly introduced (which when i started was a non-starter, i needed to be there for the introductions) She told me my dog was aggressive. Even though that is pretty touch when she doesn't even get off the couch. We both decided to amicably split ways. Then i get a bill for all the unsuccessful walks! And a bill for walks i was told in email communications i would not be charged for. THEN when i demanded my key back they wanted to go onto my back porch, which looks right into my home and scares the beejeezus out of Lola, and use my LOCKBOX! I told them i did not want them on my porch and they said "we can ship it to you at your expense or return it for free via the lock box" They are unprofessional and wrong. I am glad i have videos and documentation of all the things they said. So they cannot respond below and claim that my dog was aggressive (Video sure proves a lot)

Making arrangements with Jena to care for my cat was easy. My call was answered right away & an appointment with Lori was set up for a home visit the next day.. Lori took good care of Midnight, called me every day to tell me how things were going & sent a written report via email.
I had called a couple of other pet care agencies & gotten either no response or was told they were booked since September for the holidays. Muddy Paws, in contrast, was immediately responsive & attentive. I highly recommend them.

Jena and her staff are amazing! She is now my #1 go to pet sitter for our obnoxious ragdoll cat Doodlebug. We go on vacation about twice a year and Jena so far has never failed to provide excellent care for Bug. She and her staff provide daily updates via text and sends pics as well as leaves a report for us to read after our vacation. Thank you for taking such great care of our little furbaby! We can't say enough good things about Muddy Paws.

I was reluctant to give anyone the key to my house and take care of our (very energetic) 8 year old lab Sadie. The initial meet and greet with Jena and Ashley went great and my concerns swiftly disappeared. Due to our work schedules, Sadie had been our basement most days. That quickly and happily changed after we signed up with Muddy Paws close to a year ago. Sadie gets daily visits (during the week) from Ashley who loves Sadie just as much as we do and Sadie LOVES Ashley. Ashley leaves daily progress reports about their time together and sometimes even texts me pictures if Sadie's having too much fun (which I love)! Although Ashley is Sadie's daily MP pal, we recently went away for 10 days in which she stayed at Jena's house on her own bed and blanket so she would feel comfortable. I got emails from Jena throughout our trip letting me know that Sadie was happy and healthy and that we didn't need to worry about her so, we didn't. Muddy Paws has been fantastic and relieved a lot of guilt and worry off me and helped Sadie get out of the basement which has made her much happier, YAY :) I am so grateful and appreciative for all you do for us! Thank you thank you thank you
