Northern Manhattan Nursing

Northern Manhattan is amazing! Staff is kind and respectful. I don’t see Northern Manhattan as a corporation but rather a family. The quality care is second to none and I am so happy I chose Northern! If I was able to increase the stars on google I would! They are a huge staple of the community and they are Absolutely genuine! From Nursing, Administration, Social Services, Recreation, Housekeeping, and Maintence the Northern team are always looking to make a difference to make patients feel welcome, safe and happy!

Overall, this is a great Facility . It has its ups and downs like everywhere else. I must say the nursing supervisor and the Director of social work was extremely professional, personable, knowledgeable and helpful. When I had an issue they addressed it promptly and always followed up to ensure my mother needs where being meet.

We were feeling so welcomed from the staff. I think all of the staff at Northern Manhattan are really sincere and helpful. This place does care for their patients in every possible way and I think that's more than enough for us already.

No communication , it is hard to get needed help from social workers. Most of the aides have bad attitudes where as a patient you feel uncomfortable to ask for help. The workers repeatedly tell you they are “short staffed”. And the dietician on site is not knowledgeable and verse on making well rounded nutritious meals; for those there for Rehabilitation. I was there as a patient so I’m speaking from first hand experience. I do not recommend this facility especially if you have a loved one whom can’t advocate for themselves because they will be taken advantage of!
